D.O. Tarragona wines: Solimar range
It represemts our most classical and traditional wine range. It has been the witness of the way time has been passing by, has been transformed by time itself and with the introduction of new techniques and technologies. The name of this range is directly associated with our climatology and reflects all its Mediterranean character.

A very nice coupage of the noble varieties Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot.
A wonderful grenate colour with carmine reflections.
In nose, it shows a complex aroma constituted by three kinds : a primary variety aroma of green pepper , then as a second one, a milky sensation to which is added as a third one, a smoked and spicy aroma; these are the result of the ageing of the wine into barrels of American and French oak.
When in mouth it is warm, silky, with a mixture of tannin and acid sensations perfectly well structured. The slight smoked and spicy touches reflect perfectly the good condition of the wood in which it was grown.
It is perfectly indicated to be savoured with all kind of meat, specially white one, delicatessen and all types of sauces.

Advisable time to be stored : maximum 5 years after vintage.
Advisable temperature to be stored : 14/16ºC
Advisable temperature to be consumed : chambré, around 16 and 18ºC
Our vineyards are cultivated in lattice work (trellis) and are pruned by medium-long size. Our vines ripened in different times and after achieving the strictest ripening controls to be sure that vines were optimal, the product was elaborated.
We carefully fermentate and macerate those 2 excellent varieties separately and at a controlled temperature around 28·C during 14 days. The malolactic process occurs spontaneously in stainless steel tanks. Its ageing is made in barrels of American and French oak during 12 months to be finally bettered in its own bottle during 6 months at least, and then it is commercialised.
