D.O.Q. Priorat wines: Crianza wines
Our crianza wines are elaborated with grapes from our own plantations, in the Mas de les Pusses, in the village of El Molar. It is a cellar which uses the most actual techniques of elaboration and investigation. we care of our vines as from their very birth with the strict control and the love necessary to obtain wines which are worthy of their denomination of origin. They will be then aged in oak barrels during 12 months and they finally will be bottled for 6 months.
Priorat Les Pusses Criança | Priorat Legítim Criança
An exceptional and original wine, the character and personality of which are due to its ageing in new casks of Hungarian oak ; it has been elaborated with a coupage of Merlot and Syrah previously selected and coming from our vineyards.
An elegant cherry colour with garnet-coloured reflections and purple tones and very marked drops.
Intensely aromatic, bewitching and superb, it has a very attractive aroma transporting us to a wonderful world of sensations. A perfect equilibrated and complex nose where we can feel slight floral notes of violets enhanced with a strong fruity aroma, a mixture of blackberries and blackcurrant together with spicy touches of vanilla and coconut provided by the Hungarian oak.
It has a great personality in mouth, full-bodied and fantastically equilibrated ; we can say that we are in front of a wine to be enjoyed any moment of the day. Fruity notes go together with spicy ones to finally arrive to dried fruits and chocolate aromas.
A very nice aftertaste, warm and very gourmand with a very good body and structure for a wine that can be kept in bottle for years.
Adequate for any situation and with red meat, game and other dishes combined with sauces.

Extraordinary varieties from the Priorat zone with are grown in lattice work (trellis) in Siurana valley, and which are pruned according to medium pruning system. These varieties were harvested in the middle of September 2001, this year being qualified as excellent.
The best vines are previously selected and we carefully fermenta te and macerate them at a controlled temperature around 25-28·C. The malolactic process occurs spontaneously in stainless steel tanks before filling the product into new barrels of Hungarian oak where the wine is aged during 12 months and where its so particular personality develops.
Once bottled, before being commercialised, it is kept in bottle during 6 months to obtain the characters and bouquet of the Priorat wines.
