Misa Dulce Superior Solera 1942

This Solera was started in 1942 as a tribute to the year when Pope Pius XII came to visit De Muller still located by the Tarragona harbor side.

 

The result of making wine from one of the most ancient barrels that holds a centenary history.

The wine is made in the “solera” system that combines equal parts of barrels from several ages in the same batch, being in this case 1865 the oldest portion that leads the solera in this oxidative process.

70% Garnacha Blanca, 30% Macabeo

Amber colour with orange reflections

Aromas of ripe fruits, tobacco, dried fruits and oak.

Full bodied, In mouth it confirms the aromas and delivers a fresh aftertaste

Storage temperature less than 25 °C Best Served between 16° C - 18°C

As a dessert wine it pairs well with pine nuts, hazelnuts and creamy cheeses
